Excellent, great environment, forward-thinking, fast-paced, always busy and new challenges.
What does a day look like for you?
A typical day involves interaction with our insurer and distributor clients. Dealing with underwriters’ technical queries. Analysing MI to identify opportunities for future improvements to the Protection Platform and underwriting rule sets to help increase straight-through rates and customer journey enhancements.
What skill sets are you building in your current role?
Whilst I have experience with client relationships, I’ve had to enhance my skills and become stronger in this area as it’s become a pivotal part of my role. Also, I’m leading on projects rather than just supporting which would have been the case in previous roles and that’s a great opportunity for me.
Are you involved in any social activities at UnderwriteMe?
Yes – even though I work remotely in Scotland whenever I’m in the London office there are always opportunities to socialise with the team outside of work. A few beers here and it is always welcome!
