Insurtech provider UnderwriteMe has incorporated AIG’s Instant Life insurance products to its protection platform system.

The provider says AIG’s Instant Life Insurance stands out because of its straightforward online sign-up process, simplified underwriting, and quick decisions.

It adds that the insurer offers competitive premiums due to the simplified underwriting needs.

Advisers that use the platform now have access to more life insurance products and can compare rates for their clients.

UnderwriteMe Protection Platform gives automated and instant underwriting decisions for more than 90 percent of all protection cases.

Last month UnderwriteMe appointed Simon Jacobs to the newly created role of business development director to build commercial partnerships with aggregator distribution firms.

UnderwriteMe director of sales Phil Nash said: “I’m delighted we’re further consolidating our relationship with AIG with the addition of Instant Life Insurance to the Protection Platform. The product fits very well with our distribution model and will expand what is already a significant panel of life insurance providers.”
